Professional Organizer and Speaker Linda Chu
Clutter Consultant Linda Chu is the founding owner of Out of Chaos: Professional Organizing Solutions. She is your speaker, consultant and organizing expert in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
For over 20 years, Linda has been providing service to the public in the hospitality industry. Having managed front line operations in first-class hotels, high service standards were expected around the clock, and year round.
Linda mastered her organizational skills by effectively managing a small army and helping them to reach their peak performance. While working under constant cutbacks, she was able to refine her skill for streamlining processes by maximizing efficiency and productivity. Her own level of organization from a very early age, coupled with the 3 P’s – Planning, Process, Procedures – are the keys to her success.
Through Out of Chaos, Linda sees her role as supporting individuals in both professional and personal/residential situations to identify their organizational challenges. She develops strategies for people to get organized and stay organized by using the 5-Step S.P.A.C.E. process.
Linda’s practical approach enables her to customize her organizing solutions to a wide range of clientele in both corporate and residential environments.
Her hands-on approachable manner (combined with a sense of humour) makes the daunting task of dealing with your clutter almost fun. Linda’s understanding of the challenges of becoming and staying organized and her client-focused, non-judgmental attitude and supportive manner provides an environment that encourages effective change.
Linda is the President of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) and founder of the BC Chapter of POC. She also volunteers on the National Education Committee for the same Association and gives freely of her time to new organizers starting in the business.
In addition to her speaking engagements and seminars, Linda is an in-demand speaker and has been seen regularly on Citytv’s Breakfast Television and heard on CBC Radio’s BC Almanac. Her CD on Releasing Procrastination will be out this Fall 2007.
