Most people think professional organizers rarely shop, so I bet you are surprised that I am a frequent shopper. I explained my reasons to Anita Saulite in the Tangerine article, “What Kind of Holiday Shopper Are You?”

I created a “Gift Ideas” list in the Notes app on my phone. Whenever I hear a friend or family member mention something they need or want, I add it to my list. Then, I can shop year-round and take advantage of discounts and sales.
