In this article, I encourage people to decide what they want to use their balcony for. Then, check their lease, condo rules, and/or local bylaws before they make plans. Next, consider choosing multi-functional furniture items such as storage seating and ottomans that you can use as tables. Of course, balconies are exposed to the elements, so I suggest people select items made with weatherproof construction material such as aluminum or high-density plastic.
